When building with Arxx, a tight, monolithic building envelope is achieved, virtually eliminating drafts of cold and moist air penetrating the home’s structure. Your home is wrapped in two layers of rigid foam, providing optimum thermal protection (high R-values) and ensuring the insulation stays in place. Furthermore, the shell’s core is concrete, providing a thermal mass that stabilizes thermal fluctuations within the home. This means you can use a smaller heating and cooling system and save up to (and even over) 50% of your heating and cooling costs (depending the region in which you live).

A home built with Arxx provides a much more comfortable living space than any other form of construction, as any Arxx home-owner will tell you. Because Arxx ‘wraps’ your home in a continuous layer of foam insulation, you have much less air infiltration and fewer drafts than a conventional frame house. We provide the widest product selection in the industry, so you can easily build any shape, curve or angle. You can finish it with any material – brick, stone, stucco, or wood siding, confident that it’s solidly attached with the Arxx patented, exposed X-web. With a reinforced concrete core, Arxx walls have the strength to create large open spaces, offering you complete design flexibility. Arxx has 2 brand specific patents to their design that make Arxx blocks more favourable to use. One of those patents is the height of the block. Arxx chose to design their block so that minimal waste is generated without making the block reversible. As such, Arxx blocks fit easily and tightly together and do not float or shift during concrete placement, unlike the reversible blocks with looser fits. The other is the patented exposed X-web. Made from post-industrial recycled plastic, the X-web does not create a thermal barrier but does provide a solid surface attachment point. In fact, Arxx block are the only block that come ready for solid-to-solid attachment, all other blocks have at least a ½" of foam covering the web. For Arxx, this means no screw pops or siding sags.
